CED Organic Cane Sugar is simply unrefined sugar produced with sugarcane without futher processing to remove molasses, which is responsible for its darker colour and nutritional value.
The sugary juice from sugarcane is extracted, purified and heated to form crystallized brown sugar.
Unrefined brown sugar has higher calcium, iron and potassium contents compare to regular white sugar.
Unrefined brown sugar also contain fewer calories, with a rich aroma and soft flavour which makes it perfect for confectionary, baking and excellent with coffe and tea.
